Nissan Magnite Prices Slashed After GST Cut, Top Variants Now Cheaper by Upto ₹1 Lakh

Auto News: This is big news for the automobile sector ahead of festivals. Nissan Motor India has drastically cut the prices of its entire range of popular SUVs, the Nissan Magnite. This step has been taken after a recent amendment in GST rates. The company clarified that it is passing on the full benefit of this GST cut to the customers so that the prices of vehicles can be even more affordable.

This decision has reduced the prices of all variants of the Nissan Magnite, ranging from entry-level models to top-end variants. Customers will save up to Rs 1 lakh on the top variant, while mid-level and base variants are also now available at a much lower price than before. Apart from this, the company has also reduced the price of the Magnite CNG retrofit kit, which will give additional benefits to the customers.

Variant-wise new prices

• Entry-level Magnite Visia MT: Now available at ₹5.61 lakh, making it India's most affordable GNCAP 5-star rated SUV.
• Mid-level variants: The N-Connecta CVT and Kuro CVT Special Edition are now available at a price of less than ₹ 10 lakh, making them more attractive options for mid-range buyers.
• Top-end variants: CVT Tekna and CVT Tekna variants have been given huge discounts of ₹ 97,300 and ₹ 100,400, respectively, which gives customers a chance to buy premium models at affordable prices.

CNG retrofit kit price cut

• Nissan has reduced the price of the Magnite CNG retrofit kit to ₹ 71,999, which is already ₹ 3,000 less.
• The kit has been developed by government-approved vendor Motozen
• Fitting and homologation available at authorized centers.
• Warranty: 3 years or 1 lakh km
• It is suitable for the 1.0-litre NA petrol MT variant and does not affect the Magnite's 336-litre boot space

Safety ratings and engine options

The Magnite recently received a 5-star rating for adult safety and a 3-star rating for child occupant safety in Global NCAP.

• Adult Protection: 32.31/34
• Child Protection: 33.64/49

Engine Options:

• 1.0-litre NA petrol: 72 hp, 96 Nm torque, 5-speed manual or AMT
• 1.0-litre Turbo Petrol: 100 hp, 160 Nm torque, 5-speed manual or CVT

Fuel Efficiency:

• Manual: 20 km/l
• CVT Turbo: 17.4 km/l
