Massive Demand! Suzuki’s Bike & Scooter Sales Boom in July 2025

As of July 2025, the company sold 96,029 units across India, while 17,571 units were exported to foreign markets. Suzuki Motorcycle India is a subsidiary of Japan’s Suzuki Motor Corporation. The automaker began its operations in India in 2006. Its manufacturing plant is located in Gurugram, where around 1.3 million units are produced annually.

In July 2025, Suzuki Motorcycle India recorded impressive sales numbers across its range of scooters and bikes in the Indian two-wheeler market. The company sold a total of 1,13,600 units, combining both domestic sales and exports. Although the total sales were slightly lower compared to July 2024, Suzuki saw a sharp rise in retail sales — vehicles actually purchased by customers.

Within India, 96,029 units were sold in July, while 17,571 units were exported. This compares to 1,16,714 units sold in July 2024 — of which 1,00,602 were sold domestically and 16,112 were shipped overseas. Notably, despite fewer shipments to dealerships, retail sales jumped significantly, with 93,141 units reaching customers in July 2025, a 14% increase from 81,730 units in July last year.

Customers Prefer Suzuki Bikes and Scooters

These figures indicate that the brand is rapidly gaining popularity and consumers are increasingly choosing Suzuki’s scooters and bikes. The company expressed happiness over the strong performance and thanked customers for their continued trust. It added that it is fully prepared to maintain a great buying experience during the upcoming festive season.

Over 1.3 Million Units Produced Annually

Suzuki Motorcycle India is a subsidiary of Japan-based Suzuki Motor Corporation. It started operations in India in 2006 and has a manufacturing plant in Gurugram, capable of producing approximately 1.3 million units annually. The company mainly manufactures 125cc scooters, premium bikes above 150cc, and larger motorcycles designed specifically for Indian road conditions. With the festive season approaching, Suzuki is focusing on understanding market demand and further boosting its customer service and sales.
