The significant reduction in GST rates on daily essentials, healthcare products, electronic devices, and educational materials will increase their additional income and encourage them to save more.
Shah said the next-generation GST reforms, which begin on Monday on the auspicious occasion of Navratri, are a gift from the Modi government to all the mothers and sisters of the country. "PM Modi's promise regarding GST reforms has been implemented across the country. This includes a historic reduction in taxes on more than 390 items," he said.
He said, "The unprecedented relief in GST in the sectors of food and household goods, house construction and materials, automobiles, agriculture, services, toys, sports, handicrafts, education, medical and health, insurance, etc. will bring joy to the lives of citizens and also increase their savings.
