New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday has declared the results for the Class 12 Board Exams 2026. About 18.5 lakh students who appeared for the examinations can now access their marksheets online through official CBSE portals, DigiLocker. This year, 85.20 per cent of students passed the board examinations.

Where to check results?

Now students can check their results on the official websites, results.cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in. Students can also check their CBSE 12th results on the DigiLocker app and the website, digilocker.gov.in. Furthermore, the results will also be available via SMS, and the Umang app.

How to download CBSE Class 12th Result 2026?

  • First of all go to the official website of CBSE results.cbse.nic.in.
  • Then click on the link 'CBSE Class 12th Result 2026'.

  • Download and install the UMANG app from the Play Store or App Store.
  • Go to the 'Services' section and tap on 'CBSE'.
  • Login through OTP or MPIN using your registered mobile number.
  • Enter your registration number and other required details and submit it.
  • Your CBSE Class 12th result will appear on the screen.

How many students passed?

The overall pass percentage for Class 12th results 2026, released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), is 85.20 per cent. This means that most of the students who appeared for the 12th board exams this year have passed. The board has shared the pass percentage information along with the release of the results.

Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 88.86 per cent in the 2026 examination. Boys have a passing percentage of 82.13 per cent. Transgender students have a perfect 100 per cent pass rate.
