Indian Army Opens AFMS BSc Nursing Admissions for NEET UG 2026 Qualified Candidates (X)
New Delhi: The Indian Army has brought a great opportunity for candidates who have qualified the NEET-UG 2026. The Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has invited applications from female candidates who have cleared NEET UG 2026 for admission to its four-year BSc Nursing Course 2026.
AFMS has opened the application process for the BSc Nursing course in 2026. This presents a great opportunity for women who wish to pursue a career in the Army while also serving the public. A total of 220 seats are available across colleges of nursing under the AFMS. After completing the four-year BSc Nursing course, candidates will be offered a permanent commission or short service commission within the Army. However, only women can apply for this position. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their NEET UG 2026 scores. The Base Hospital is located in Delhi Cantt, where the entire document verification process will be conducted. The General Intelligence and General English (ToGIGE) test will be conducted on a computer. It will consist of 40 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 2 marks. There will also be a negative marking of 0.5 marks for incorrect answers. After passing these tests, the selection board will call candidates to Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt, for a psychological assessment and interview. Medical fitness is essential to join the Army. Only candidates who qualify all stages will be included in the final selection list.
