New Delhi: UP Sainik School Admission 2027: The registration process for admission to UP's Sainik Schools for the academic session 2027-28 has begun. The UP Sainik Schools Society has invited applications for admission to classes 6th and 9th at Sainik Schools. Interested and eligible students can register for admission until October 25th. In addition to children from military families, children of civilians can also apply, but they must meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.

In Uttar Pradesh, applications can be made for admission to Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey UP Sainik School, Lucknow, and Sainik School, Gorakhpur. The admission rules for girls at both schools are different.
Children of military personnel and civilians can apply for admission to classes 6th and 9th in UP Sainik School. For admission to class 6th, the child must have been born between July 2, 2015, and January 1, 2018. The child must have passed class 5th. For admission to class 6th, the child must have been born between July 2, 2012, and January 1, 2015. The child must have passed class 8th. However, children studying in classes 5th and 8th can also apply for admission. It is important that the child must be a native of Uttar Pradesh.
An entrance exam will be held for admission to classes 6th and 9th at UP Sainik Schools. The entrance exam is expected to be held on December 20, 2026. Students will be admitted to available seats based on their merit in the entrance exam.
