India Manch: Former DGP of Uttar Pradesh and current Rajya Sabha MP from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Brij Lal, attacked on the Samajwadi Party (SP) over mafia connections.

India Manch: During the India Daily Live Conclave, Brij Lal recounted several stories related to his life and made significant revelations related to the police system. Referring to the murder cases of mafia leaders Mukhtar Ansari and Krishnanand Rai, Brij Lal mentioned that in one case, if Mulayam Singh Yadav gave permission, Krishnanand Rai would have been alive today. Brij Lal stated that Mukhtar Ansari's name was involved in a case, but due to lack of permission from Mulayam Singh Yadav, he could not be punished.

Speaking about the case filed against Mukhtar Ansari, Brij Lal mentioned the then DSP who registered the case and said, "Mukhtar's name was involved in that case. An investigation was conducted, and before charges were framed, the file went to the Home Department and the CM's office. While permission was granted for Munna Yadav and Babulal Yadav, permission was not given against Mukhtar Ansari. Munna and Babulal received a sentence of 10 years each.
