'Laapataa Ladies' Actor Satendra Soni Accuses Director Of Violence Over Unpaid Dues, Breaks Down In Video (Canva)
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Satendra Soni posted a emotional video on social media, where he shared his experience of getting physically harmed by director Pushpendra Singh over unpaid payment. According to the reports, this incident took place during the shooting of his upcoming movie in Madhya Pradesh.
According to the video, Satendra shared his upcoming movie director Pushpendra Singh refused to pay him the amount he worked for and was told to pack his bags and leave the hotel.
Before starting the shoot Satendra claimed that he received advance payment of Rs 50,000 but after eight days when he asked for remaining pay, the situation escalated.
According to the information mentioned by Satendra, he was threatened by the director harshly. He was also warned that he could face serious consequences if he demands for due payments again and again.
He accused the filmmaker that he badly assaulted him on a road and was chased by him with other production people.

Later, Satendra shared a post in his Instagram story, assuring audience that he had safely arrived to Mumbai and was very thankful to the authorities who helped him during the situation. He particularly acknowledged the support he got in leaving Madhya Pradesh safely.
As of now, director Pushpendra Singh has not responded against the accusations. The incident has raised question about the situation in entertainment industry and their working conditions.
