Aamir Khan Faces Death Threat: Jagadguru Paramhans Announces Rs 5 Crore Bounty Amid Third Marriage Row (x)

Mumbai: Ever since Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has tied the knot with Gauri Spratt, the actor has been facing one attack after another over his personal life. What began with protests, effigy burning and disturbing “love jihad” allegations from Bajrang Dal members and political leaders has now escalated into an open death threat against the superstar. Now Ayodhya-based religious leader Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya has announced a reward of Rs 5 crore for the one who kills Aamir.

What did Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya say?

While agreeing with Maharashtra BJP minister Nitesh Rane, who called Aamir Khan "brand ambassador of love jihad," Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya, Peethadheeshwar of Tapasvi Chhawani, said that, "Given that Aamir Khan has married three times, and all three marriages were to Hindu women, Nitesh Rane's statement is not an allegation but a reality. Such people should be dealt with immediately. They are committing a grave offence against society by creating discord and promoting what he described as 'love jihad'."

"From Ayodhya Dham, the sacred birthplace of Lord Ram, I, Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya, Peethadheeshwar of Tapasvi Chhawani, also announce a reward of Rs 5 crore. Whoever kills Aamir Khan, by any means, I will bear all of that person's legal expenses and give Rs 5 crore to their family. If 100-200 such people who, in my view, promote 'love jihad' are eliminated, then 'love jihad' will come to a complete end," the Ayodhya priest said.

What is the controversy?

The Bajrang Dal also protested against the actor's third marriage with Gauri Spratt. A fatwa has also been issued against Aamir Khan for marrying women of other religions. Maharashtra government minister Nitesh Rane has even labeled Aamir Khan a brand ambassador of "love jihad."

But now, Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya has issued a controversial statement regarding Aamir Khan's third marriage, which has shocked everyone.

What about Aamir Khan's third marriage?

Aamir Khan registered his marriage with Gauri Spratt on July 5 at the age of 61. This is Aamir's third marriage.

Aamir Khan first introduced Gauri officially on his 60th birthday and revealed they had known each other for over two decades before beginning their relationship. During his interviews, Aamir Khan had also revealed that he already considers himself emotionally and mentally committed to Gauri by stating his peace with her, saying 'Ab jaake Main Mukammal Hua'.

Aamir and Gauri have also been living with each other happily for the past few months in an apartment building a stable life.

What about the couple's past relationship?

Gauri Spratt, who was previously associated with Aamir Khan Productions, has a seven-year-old son, Quinn, from her previous marriage, while Aamir Khan was married twice before this relationship with Reena Dutta, with whom he shares two children, Junaid and Ira. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao, and the former couple has a son, Azad. Aamir and Kiran announced their separation in 2021.
