Mumbai: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is often known for his discipline, but this time, his son Aarav Bhatia is in the news. However, the actor recently revealed that his son, Aarav, has no interest in films and is pursuing a career in fashion, revealing that he only Rs 4,500 per month.
During a podcast, Akshay Kumar, while talking about his son, Aarav, said that acting is not something he is interested in, and also shared that he wants to follow his own ambitions instead of relying on the family’s film background.
During the conversation, Akshay stated that Aarav has no interest in acting in films and is living a down-to-earth life, away from the glitz and glamour.
"He doesn't want to come into films. There's no plan at all. He wants to be in fashion,” Akshay said in the podcast.
Akshay said that Aarav is exactly like him in terms of temperament and habits.
"We are very similar. He takes great care of his health, and I am the same way. He is tall like me and is very dedicated to his work. He loves to work," he said.
Akshay Kumar also shared about Aarav's struggle and his learning process, explaining how he's learning from the ground.
“He is working and earning around Rs 4,500 through a job. Why shouldn’t he? It’s a good thing. These days, he goes to villages and all. He’s learning fashion from there—understanding different kinds of prints and everything," the Bollywood actor said.
While talking about parenting philosophy, Akshay said he prefers not to impose lectures on his son.
“I don’t give lectures—not to anyone, especially not to my son. Just one thing: don’t harm anybody. Don’t hurt anyone. That’s it. The rest, he should handle his own life.”
Born in 2002, Aarav Bhatia has always kept himself away from the limelight. Akshay and Twinkle Khanna's son, Aarav, decided to go abroad for studies at the age of 15. Currently, he is pursuing his studies at a university in London and gaining experience in the fashion field. His younger sister, Nitara Kumar, often appears in their mother's social media posts.
In 'Bhoot Bangla', Akshay Kumar's comic timing is being widely praised. His return with director Priyadarshan after 14 years has also created a stir at the box office. The film grossed over Rs 15 crore on its opening day. Besides Akshay, the horror-comedy also stars Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rajpal Yadav.
