Kiara Advani Speaks On Her Daughter Sarayah's Dating Life, Sparks Controversy

New Delhi: Kiara Advani has opened up about the relationship advice she would like to give her daughter, Sarayah, when she grows up. Kiara stated that she would not want her daughter to feel as though she is limited to dating only one person and is obligated to marry that very individual. The actress expressed her desire for Sarayah to live a full and complete life, adding that she would support her daughter even if she chose not to get married.

Speaking on Raj Shamani's podcast, Kiara Advani said, "I would want her to live a very fulfilling life. I don't want her to feel like she has to date just one person or spend her entire life with that specific individual... It’s like, there are no restrictions: if you want to get married, get married; and if you don't want to get married, then don't." Kiara also shared that, with every person she dated in the past, she used to feel convinced that she would end up marrying them.

She remarked, "Life doesn't always turn out the way we imagine it will. Thank God it didn't, because I am incredibly happy with the person God chose to be my life partner (Sidharth Malhotra). However, all the relationships you form throughout your life as you grow up teach you something valuable. Ultimately, they shape you into the person you are today."

The actress stated, "I will tell her (Sarayah) that living life to the fullest—deciding for yourself what you want and what you don't, and making mistakes along the way—is all perfectly okay. You will make certain decisions that, perhaps later on (when looking back), might not seem like the best choices; but what truly matters is what you learn from those mistakes and what you gain from those experiences."

Kiara and Sidharth welcomed their daughter, Sarayah, into their home on July 15, 2025. Although they have not yet revealed their daughter's face to the public, they frequently express their love for her in interviews and on social media. Kiara recently celebrated her first Mother's Day as a mother, and Sidharth Malhotra surprised her by making pancakes.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kiara Advani will be seen in the film *Toxic: A Fairytale for Grownups*. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film also features Yash, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria in lead roles. The release date for the film has not yet been announced.
