In a statement to The Indian Express, Goldie said, "Many people have come forward to help Rajpal Yadav. Actors like Sonu Sood, Salman Khan, and Ajay Devgan have offered their support. I was just on a call with David Dhawan; he has also offered his support. Ratan Nain, Varun Dhawan... This time, many people are coming forward to help him, which Rajpal has greatly appreciated."
When asked if Rajpal had sought help from his co-actors before surrendering in Tihar Jail, Goldie declined to comment. Goldie said, "I wouldn't like to comment on that. The industry has stood by him like a rock. That's something to be commended. Everyone has made commitments, but such transactions don't happen overnight."
Goldie expressed hope that Rajpal will be released soon. He said, "Mentally, the family needs to stay strong. Rajpal Bhai himself is very strong. There are many celebrations at home, and family functions are scheduled for the end of February. Everyone wants Rajpal Bhai to be out by then." Hopefully, he'll be out by tomorrow.
Sharing details, Goldie said, "His bail hearing is tomorrow. We hope he'll be granted bail and released. The bail application has already been filed. We'll be able to share more details after tomorrow's hearing."
Earlier, industry figures like Sonu Sood, Guru Randhawa, Gurmeet Choudhary, and KRK, as well as music director Rao Indrajit Yadav, publicly announced their support.
The Delhi High Court had ordered him to surrender on February 4th in a cheque bounce case. However, he surrendered on the evening of February 5. Although he has been in jail for the past six days, his emotional statement before surrendering, "I have no money, no friends," went viral. One after another, celebrities came forward to help him.
