Did Talwiinder CONFIRM dating rumours with Disha Patani?: 'Falling In Love Right Now' (X)
Mumbai: After dating rumours with Bollywood actress Disha Patani, the singer Talwinder, who is famous for his mysterious identification and signature mask, has for the very first time addressed the relationship link-up with her.
Punjabi singer Talwiinder Singh Sidhu while talking with The Hollywood Reporter India, said that "we don't want to give in to the pressure or the rumours."
"We just got to know each other just before the wedding, and all of this attention caught us off guard. We don’t want to give in to the pressure or the rumours,” he said.
While addressing the gossip about them being in the relationship, the Punjabi singer said that both of them are still discovering and figuring out about themselves.
“We are still discovering ourselves, still figuring out ourselves. I would just like to leave it at that because if they’re going to try to spread rumours, I am going to let the rumours be rumours," the singer said.
Responding to the question regarding love life, Talwiinder said that “I fall in love every day, I am falling in love right now.”
When asked about the viral video from Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben’s wedding in which Talwiinder is without mark, he called it a betrayal of the dream.
“I woke up and saw my face everywhere. I wasn’t in the right state of mind. It felt like something was snatched away from me. My world turned upside down,” he said.
The singer, who is popular for hit songs like ‘Kammo Ji’, ‘Dhundhala’ and ‘Funk Son’ said that “It was never about that I am never going to show my face, I am not playing hide and seek with the world. It was just like Leave me alone, just focus on what I am giving to you. That’s the public property, this is not. So, when that video came out, I saw that and it spread like wildfire.”
Expressing disappointment, the Punjabi singer said that the social media and internet turned the moment into content.
“For a few thousand rupees, someone literally killed someone’s dream. My music is made for the ears, not the eyes. Sometimes visuals distract people from feeling the music. Sab ko apna ghar chalana hai. If people are getting views, they’re happy and I’m happy,” he concluded.
The Punjabi singer and Disha’s dating rumours started after their joint appearance at the wedding festivities of Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben in Udaipur.
Lats week, the speculation intensified when they were seen walking hand-in-hand at Lollapalooza in Mumbai.
