In his Instagram post, Arijit Singh wrote: "Hello everyone, Happy New Year to all of you. I want to thank you all for giving me so much love as listeners over the years. I am happy to announce that I will no longer be taking on any new work as a playback vocalist. I am ending it here. It has been a beautiful journey."
