Krrish 4 Update: Shooting to Begin in 2026, Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan Team Up for Next Big Hit

After the huge disappointment of War 2, Hrithik Roshan is all set for his next big project, Krrish 4. The previous film, which released on 14th August, could not recover its huge Rs 400 crore budget despite high expectations. Now, Hrithik will take on the role of director for Krrish 4, while his father, Rakesh Roshan, will produce the film. According to recent updates, the shooting will begin in 2026, and the film is not expected to release before that.

Current Status of ‘Krrish 4’ Shooting

Rakesh Roshan never rushes with his films. Time is taken to plan the project, after which the film is brought to the floor. Now, since this time his son Hrithik Roshan is handling the direction of Krrish 4, he shared that writing the script didn’t take much time. However, there was pressure regarding the budget. But now we have an idea of the film’s budget and how much it may cost. So the work on the film will begin soon. Meanwhile, Hrithik seems to be following in his father’s footsteps. During this, Rakesh Roshan also talked about the film’s timeline. He said the film work is progressing quickly. They will start shooting by the middle of next year, meaning the work will start in 2026. This is because the film’s pre-production is quite extensive. He wants to be completely ready before taking the film to the floor.

When will ‘Krrish 4’ release?

This film is the fourth installment of the Krrish franchise, which started with Koi… Mil Gaya in 2003. Later, Krrish released in 2006, followed by Krrish 3 in 2013. It is now being said that the film’s shooting will continue until the end of 2026. Meanwhile, Rakesh Roshan stated that the film is planned for release in 2027.
