A similar story unfolded with Shahid Kapoor’s stepsister, Sanah Kapoor. Born to veteran actors Pankaj Kapoor and Supriya Pathak, Sanah carries the legacy of acting in her veins and stepped into Bollywood fueled by ambitious dreams. Sanaah Kapoor entered Bollywood in the year 2015 with the film 'Shaandaar.' She shared the screen with notable stars such as her father, Pankaj Kapoor; her brother, Shahid Kapoor; and Alia Bhatt in the film. Sanah's role was definitely appreciated, but the film's box office performance was poor. The audience felt that as a star kid, Sanah would get more opportunities in the future, but in reality this did not happen.
After 'Shaandaar,' Sanah got the next chance in 2019 in the film 'Ram Prasad Ki Tehrvi,' which was a family drama. But this film also could not leave any special impact on the audience. Sanah Kapoor married her boyfriend, Mayank Pahwa, in 2023. Since marriage, she has neither worked in any film nor participated in any public event. She is also limitedly active on social media. It is believed that she has now distanced herself from acting, and perhaps now her focus is on personal life.
Sanah Kapoor's journey shows that just having a film background or a legacy of stardom cannot make you successful. Her father, mother, and brother — all are established actors, but Sanah could not succeed in building her career.
