Telugu film superstar Allu Arjun was on the receiving end of a tragic incident as he had come to Hyderabad to promote his upcoming movie *Pushpa 2: The Rule* at Sandhya Theatre. Here, a stampede killed a 35-year-old woman, with her child also being severely injured. Allu Arjun was arrested for the incident, but later, he was granted interim bail. Despite all the controversies surrounding the film, *Pushpa 2* went on to become a super hit, crossing over ₹1,700 crore at the box office.

2. Poonam Pandey's Death Hoax Drama 

When the news came about actress Poonam Pandey declaring death due to cervical cancer, news hits the headline for the wrong reasons because of management false declaration on the death report and made attempts to popularize cervical awareness; a step towards the correct goal with improper steps increased criticisms towards her. Soon PR landed into trouble issuing public apology over her tasteless publicity idea. The affair received heavy noise through all major social networking platforms.

3. Kapil Sharma's alleged racist comments against Atlee

Earlier this month, stand-up comic and host Kapil Sharma was in a soup for allegedly poking fun at Atlee's skin colour during the "Jawan" director's appearance on Netflix's "The Great Indian Kapil Show".Amid backlash, Sharma defended his comments and requested people to not spread hate on social media.

Kangana Ranaut's bold film *Emergency* had already been postponed several times other than getting a CBFC certification, which it did not. Accused of being malicious in portraying the Sikh Community, bodies have questioned the historical sense of the movie's interpretation. It may see release by 17 January, 2025, at the earliest.
