International News: The demand for independence in Balochistan, Pakistan's disturbed province, took a new turn on Wednesday, when Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch declared an independent nation Balochistan separate from Pakistan. He said that Baloch people no longer want to be a part of Pakistan amidst the ongoing repression, forced disappearance and human rights violations.

Mir Yar Baloch wrote on the social media platform X (East Twitter) -

"Balochistan is not Pakistan. Baloch people have given their decision. Now the world should not remain silent." He appealed to India and the global community to support this freedom struggle and urged Indian media, YouTubers and intellectuals, especially to stop calling Baloch 'their people of Pakistan'.

"The people of Pakistan are Punjabi. Balochs have bombed, forcibly missing and massacre, not Punjabis," - Mir Yar Baloch wrote.

Questions raised on Pakistani occupation

He accused Pakistan of illegally grabbing Balochistan and said that there is not a single legal document or international recognition in support of Pakistan's claim of forcible merger on 27 March 1948.

Support India's move

Mir Yar Baloch also supported the demand of the Government of India to vacate the slave Jammu and Kashmir (Pojk). They said that "Balochistan stands with this adventure decision of India. The international community should tell Pakistan to vacate Pojk, so that a 93,000 soldiers like Dhaka do not have to repeat the surrender."

He warned that if Pakistan does not eagle, then its generals would be responsible for bloodshed and loss of life, because he is using the people of Kashmir as 'human shield'.

Another dreadful incident

On the other hand, violence in disturbed Balochistan is not taking the name of stopping. On Tuesday night, unidentified gunmen kidnapped four truck drivers and killed them with bullets in Galangur area of ​​Nashki district. Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind said that the four bodies have been recovered from the spot. No organization has taken responsibility for this attack yet.

Rising restlessness in background

Balochistan has long been the center of atrocities, rebellion and separatist movements of Pakistani security forces. There have often been allegations of human rights violations, forcibly disappearance and judicial killings.
