International News: Bangladesh interim government chief Mohammad Yunus will not resign from his post. Yunus's special assistant, Faiz Ahmed Tayyab, gave this information on Friday. Tayyab said that Professor Mohammad Yunus does not have greed for power, but at present he is necessary for peaceful democratic change in Bangladesh. In such a situation, he will remain in his post. This statement of Tayyab has come at a time when the discussion of Yunus' resignation is in full swing in the political corridors of Bangladesh.

Mohammad Yunus took charge of the interim government in August last year. The interim government was formed after Sheikh Hasina stepped down from power. In recent months, it has been claimed that Yunus is in conflict with the army and has lost the trust of political parties. There have been many such developments, which have led to speculation about Yunus' resignation. Mohammad Yunus held a meeting of the Advisory Council on Thursday and also discussed with the members of the council. After the meeting, it was revealed that Yunus is unhappy with the lack of cooperation and is considering resigning.

Why were there speculations about Yunus' resignation?

Amid speculations of Yunus' resignation, Tayyab wrote on social media on Friday, "The cabinet should be more active. The government should show its work to the public. We have to show that Yunus has achieved many successes after coming to power with the consent of the people. The whole world respects Muhammad Yunus. It is our responsibility to maintain that respect."

Tayyab further said that the government should talk to political parties. They should meet regularly and seek opinions on different issues. No one should be isolated. He said that the army should not interfere in politics. However, the army should be respected and kept in confidence. No sudden decision should be taken about the army.

Only Yunus has the right to decide the election date

Tayyab also said that after the necessary preparations, elections are expected to be held between April & May next year. Based on the roadmap from December to June, only Yunus Sir has the right to decide the date of elections. This right cannot be taken away from him. When he was brought, he had said at the airport itself that my voice should be heard. I think this will happen.
