International News: Pakistan was thinking that it will get away with the Pahalgam terror attack, but the havoc that India has unleashed has broken the back of this country that nurtures terrorists. India has destroyed three airbases of Pakistan, which Pakistan itself has admitted. But China is keeping a hawk's eye on the Indian targets on Pakistan. China is also an enemy of India and this time too China is supporting Pakistan. Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar himself has admitted that during the military action, the Chinese ambassador was present in his office with his team till 4 am. That means you can understand what kind of alliance there is between China and Pakistan.

The report of news agency Reuters, China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) is closely recording every information related to this India-Pak conflict, whether it is the use of Indian Brahmos cruise missile, deployment of air defense system, or the mobility of the Indian Navy.

China's eye on India-Pakistan conflict

News agency Reuters has quoted experts and diplomats as saying that China is looking at this conflict as a "real time war lab", from where it is trying to extract information about the operation of India's strategic weapons, command-and-control network and missile launch patterns. China is most interested in the Indian Brahmos cruise missiles, which have been jointly developed by India and Russia. China does not have the capability to track the Brahmos missile. India has so far used the Brahmos missile only during tests. It is a super destructive missile and India has still not used this missile against Pakistan. But if India uses this missile, it will be a rare opportunity for China to see the effect of Brahmos.

China's Maritime Surveillance in the Indian Ocean

China's surveillance is not limited to the current conflict between the two countries, but it has also intensified its espionage in the Indian Ocean in the last few years. It is trying to spy through space tracking ships, oceanographic research ships and even fishing vessels. On May 1, when India was conducting exercises in the Arabian Sea, a large fleet of Chinese fishing boats suddenly arrived. OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) tracker Damien Simon revealed on X that these ships can work like spy ships, which record radio frequencies, radar returns and electronic signals and feed them to the PLA. While many Pentagon reports have said that fishing vessels do not have only fishermen, but PLA intelligence agents in civilian clothes.

What information does China get from the data?

  • Information about BrahMos missile - If India uses BrahMos in war for the first time, then China can get many technical details including its trajectory, accuracy, seeker performance etc.
  • Information about Indian air defense network- China will try to get information about the Indian S-400 air defense system, Akash missile system and MRSAM system. It can get information like their radar lock time and fire control.
  • Command-and-Control Mentality- Apart from this, China can also try to gain information about how Indian soldiers take decisions and how they respond. This will help Chinese soldiers in making strategies against India.

India's Strategic Response to China

Looking at the India-China border dispute (LAC) and the Taiwan crisis, China knows when and where the next big war can happen. This is also its planning which has come out in many reports. But if India has to give a befitting reply to China in the future, then it will have to get information about every Indian strategy and weapon system in advance, which it might be getting.
