Washington: The tension between America and Iran has once again reached a dangerous point. US President Donald Trump has claimed that missile and drone attacks were carried out by Iran on three American warships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Trump said that the US Army shot down all the missiles and drones in the air. He claimed that in the retaliation the "Iranian bombers were completely destroyed" and several small boats were also destroyed.

Writing a long post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump made a scathing attack on Iran. He said that if Iran does not sign a peace deal soon, America will take more stringent military action in the future.

Trump said that Iran will never be allowed to possess nuclear weapons. He described the Iranian leadership as “dangerous” and said that if given the opportunity, Iran would not shy away from using nuclear weapons.

According to Iranian government media, this military confrontation took place near Qeshm Island. This is the same place that falls in the Gulf of Hormuz. The land on which these people live is one of the most sensitive areas in the world. Because about 20 percent of the world's crude oil passes through this sea route. That means one out of every five oil ships departs from here. If this route is closed, there could be a worldwide oil shortage in an instant.

And this is why Iran wants to maintain its strong hold on this entire region forever. Iran says, "This is our door, we will decide what will happen here."
