Trump Says Iranian Forces ‘Destroyed’ After Attack on 3 US Destroyers (X)

Washington: The tension between America and Iran has once again reached a dangerous point. US President Donald Trump has claimed that missile and drone attacks were carried out by Iran on three American warships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. However, according to Trump, there was no damage to American ships.

Trump said that the US Army shot down all the missiles and drones in the air. He claimed that in the retaliation the "Iranian bombers were completely destroyed" and several small boats were also destroyed.

What warning did Trump give to Iran?

Writing a long post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump made a scathing attack on Iran. He said that if Iran does not sign a peace deal soon, America will take more stringent military action in the future.

Trump said that Iran will never be allowed to possess nuclear weapons. He described the Iranian leadership as “dangerous” and said that if given the opportunity, Iran would not shy away from using nuclear weapons.

What happened near Qeshm Island?

According to Iranian government media, this military confrontation took place near Qeshm Island. This is the same place that falls in the Gulf of Hormuz. The land on which these people live is one of the most sensitive areas in the world. Because about 20 percent of the world's crude oil passes through this sea route. That means one out of every five oil ships departs from here. If this route is closed, there could be a worldwide oil shortage in an instant.

And this is why Iran wants to maintain its strong hold on this entire region forever. Iran says, "This is our door, we will decide what will happen here."

On the other hand, America argues that international ships have the right to pass through here without any hindrance. And on this one issue there has been a standoff between the two countries for years.
Two different minds, one ocean, and the entire world's economy are caught in the middle.

Why is the issue of nuclear program stuck?

Talks are also going on between America and Iran, but no concrete result has been achieved so far. The biggest controversy is regarding Iran's nuclear program. America says that Iran cannot be allowed to make nuclear weapons. Iran has been continuously claiming that its nuclear program is only for civilian needs and energy production.

Is there still hope for talks?

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson has said that the messages sent by Pakistan and the offer of peace are being considered. America hasn't received any reply yet. At present, Iran has not said anything on anything coming from America.
