New Fatah-II Missile Tested by Pakistan, Spotlight on India’s S-400 Defense (OpenAi)
New Delhi/Islamabad: Pakistan has claimed successful testing of Fatah-II missile. With this, once again the discussion regarding missile capability in the region has intensified. Pakistan is presenting this missile as an important increase in its military strength.
According to Pakistani Army, the range of this missile is about 400 kilometers. It is said to be more advanced than the earlier Fatah-I. It is claimed that a better guidance system has been installed in it, which makes aiming more accurate.
The Fatah-II is said to be designed to fly at relatively low altitudes. Its purpose may be to escape from radar at the initial stage. Additionally, it can be fired from a mobile launcher, making its deployment flexible.
This is where the real question arises. Defense experts believe that it is not easy to directly challenge a system like the S-400 with a single missile. However, pressure can be created if the strategy of firing multiple missiles simultaneously is adopted.
The S-400 air defense system with India is known for its multi-layer protection. It has the ability to track and intercept multiple targets simultaneously. It has been specially designed to deal with threats at high speed and low altitude.
Officially Pakistan is calling it domestic development. However, some experts believe that there may be involvement of foreign, especially Chinese technology in this. No concrete confirmation has emerged on this.
Strategic tensions usually increase after such tests. On one hand, new missiles are tested, while on the other hand, emphasis is laid on further strengthening the air defense system. At present, it is being seen as the same episode.
Looking at the situation, it is not difficult to say that such tests will continue to be conducted in future also. Both countries are busy increasing their respective strengths, Pakistan is working on missile capability, while India is strengthening its defense system. In such a situation, it is now considered almost certain that such news will emerge from time to time.
