World News: US President Donald Trump has made a sensational claim in an exclusive interview with Fox News, stating that the United States has completely destroyed Iran's most secure nuclear facility, Fordow, in a secret military operation. According to Trump, the attack took place on June 22 under the codename "Operation Midnight Hammer," during which three major Iranian nuclear sites—Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan—were targeted.

Fordow: Hidden Deep Within the Mountains

The Fordo Nuclear Facility is considered Iran's most secretive and heavily fortified site, constructed within tunnels deep inside mountains to protect it from air strikes. However, Trump claimed that the state-of-the-art bunker buster bombs, dropped from America’s B-2 stealth bombers, rendered this protection useless.

“Our bombs cut through the mountain rocks like a knife through butter and reached the depths,” Trump said. “We shook Iran’s nuclear infrastructure to its core.”

Iran Was Warned in Advance

According to Trump, the United States had issued clear warnings to Iran, demanding a halt to its uranium enrichment program. “We gave Iran time,” he said, “but when they didn’t listen, we acted swiftly—so fast they didn’t even see it coming.”

The strike reportedly involved the use of GBU-57 bunker buster bombs and Tomahawk cruise missiles. Trump claimed these weapons were so powerful that they completely destroyed the underground facilities at all three sites.

Direct US Action Amid Rising Iran-Israel Tensions

The operation came at a time of escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, which had intensified since June 13 with repeated rocket and drone attacks from both sides. This marked the first time the US had openly intervened, conducting a direct strike against Iran. Analysts suggest this move could further destabilize the already volatile Middle East geopolitical landscape.

UN Nuclear Watchdog Questions Trump's Claim

While Trump insisted the operation had set back Iran's nuclear program by decades, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), disagreed. Grossi stated that Iran could restart its uranium enrichment within months, suggesting the damage may not be permanent.

Additionally, some Israeli intelligence sources reported that Iran had relocated its sensitive nuclear material prior to the bombing. If true, this may have limited the overall impact of the US operation.

Trump’s bold claims have sent shockwaves through the international community. While the US portrays the operation as a major military success, global experts caution that Iran’s nuclear ambitions may only be delayed, not destroyed. The world now watches closely for Tehran's response and how other international powers will react in the coming weeks.
