Israel attacked Gaza (Social media)
World News: The Gaza Strip has once again turned red with blood. At least 72 people, including women and young children, lost their lives in Israeli airstrikes carried out from late Friday night to early Saturday morning. According to reports from the Health Ministry, the most devastating impact was felt in the Muwasi region of southern Gaza, where many displaced civilians were living in tents.
In one tragic incident, an airstrike on a tent camp in Muwasi killed three innocent children along with their parents. The attack occurred while the entire family was sleeping. Suad Abu Teima, the grandmother of the deceased children, wept as she said, “What did these little ones do wrong? They hadn’t even had a chance to live their lives.” They hadn't even seen life yet." For this family, the strike brought irreversible loss.
A powerful explosion near Gaza City's Palestine Stadium resulted in the deaths of 12 more people. The stadium, which had been serving as a temporary refuge for displaced families, turned into a scene of devastation. Hospitals across Gaza are struggling to cope with the rising number of casualties. The Health Ministry confirmed that more than 20 bodies were taken to Nasir Hospital, while an additional 11 victims from an airstrike in eastern Gaza were brought to Al-Ahli Hospital.
This conflict has gone far beyond a military standoff; it now poses a direct threat to innocent civilians. Families who had moved to Muwasi and similar areas in search of safety are now caught amid ruin once again. For children, women, and the elderly, there is no safe refuge left in Gaza.
In the midst of the escalating violence, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed optimism about a possible ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in the coming days. “We are working towards peace in Gaza,” he told reporters in the Oval Office. Meanwhile, reports suggest that Israeli Minister Ron Dermer is planning a visit to the United States to hold discussions on ceasefire negotiations and broader regional security concerns.
While the global community talks about peace and ceasefire negotiations, each passing moment in Gaza costs another innocent life. Though diplomatic efforts are underway, the true price of this war is being paid by ordinary people—those who had no role in the conflict but now suffer the most.
