New Delhi: Hezbollah has confirmed that its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut, Lebanon. The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) announced the operation, claiming responsibility for targeting Nasrallah, a prominent figure known for his leadership in Hezbollah—a militant group and political force in Lebanon with a history of conflict with Israel. The reported death of Nasrallah, if substantiated, signifies an escalation in the ongoing tensions between Israel and Hezbollah.
