Iran Strikes US Base After Bandar Abbas Attack, Warns of 'More Decisive' Retaliation Ahead (X)

Washington: Tensions have flared again around the Strait of Hormuz despite an ongoing ceasefire effort, now Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Thursday claimed that they targeted a US airbase after what they described as an early morning American attack near Bandar Abbas airport.

Where did Iran attack?

On Thursday, Iran's IRGC claimed that it has launched an attack targeting a US airbase in retaliation for attacks near Bandar Abbas Port.

According to media reports, Iran's Revolutionary Guards said on Thursday that they had retaliated by targeting a US airbase following the US strike near Bandar Abbas Port at 4:50 a.m. local time. However, the IRGC did not specify which US base it targeted.

Did IRGC warn US?

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have issued a very stern warning directly to the US.

The IRGC warned that any repeat of what it called aggression would draw a "more decisive" response and said responsibility for the consequences lay with the "aggressor".

What happen in Bandar Abbas Port?

Earlier on Wednesday night, the US carried out another major airstrike in Iran. According to reports, three explosions were heard in the eastern part of the Iranian city of Bandar Abbas at around 1:30 a.m. (local time).
