International News: Iran’s attempt to reopen talks on uranium enrichment has failed. Foreign Minister Araghchi tried to meet Donald Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff with support from European diplomats. But Witkoff rejected the meeting. The US has made it clear there will be no dialogue unless Iran stops enriching uranium. America also added missile production to the negotiation list. This means Iran must now halt both uranium enrichment and missile development. The announcement has deeply shocked Tehran and worsened the standoff.

US fighter support arrives

The United States has deployed over a dozen KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft to the Middle East. These aircraft are essential for refueling bombers and fighter jets during long missions. A similar deployment was made before the June 2025 US attack on Iranian bases. That strike, carried out with B-2 bombers, failed to achieve its goals. The new deployment suggests preparations for another large-scale military move. Experts say this is one of the clearest signals of an upcoming strike.

Israel raises fresh alarms

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently claimed to have obtained details about Iran’s hidden uranium stockpiles. His statement has fueled speculation about a coordinated strike. Iran currently holds more than 400 kilograms of enriched uranium. Experts warn this amount is enough to make at least 10 nuclear bombs. Israel has long argued that Iran’s nuclear program is a threat to regional security. Netanyahu’s comments have added weight to the belief that Israel is preparing for direct military action.

Iran plans capital shift

In a surprising move, the Iranian President has proposed shifting the capital away from Tehran. Officially, he cited water shortages as the reason. But analysts believe the real motive is security. Tehran is seen as highly vulnerable if the US and Israel attack. By moving the capital, Iran hopes to reduce risks to its political leadership. Supreme Leader Khamenei has yet to approve, but the urgency of the proposal signals Iran’s growing fear of conflict.

Opposition groups regrouping

Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, heir of the former Shah’s dynasty, has been rallying opposition groups. He is working closely with Western countries to challenge Supreme Leader Khamenei’s rule. Israel is reportedly supporting these moves, hoping to install Pahlavi in Tehran. This development has added another layer of pressure on Iran’s leadership. For Khamenei, internal threats now combine with external dangers. The possibility of regime change efforts tied to military strikes cannot be ruled out.

Past attack remembered

The last US strike on Iran happened in June 2025. American B-2 bombers targeted three Iranian bases but the attack was largely unsuccessful. Since then, both sides have been on edge. Washington has continued to warn Tehran against enriching uranium, while Iran has refused to back down. Many fear that the US may try again, this time with Israeli support. Military experts believe the presence of Stratotankers and Israeli signals makes the scenario very likely.

Regional future uncertain

The five signs together paint a worrying picture. Failed talks, fresh US military deployments, Israel’s alarm, Iran’s plan to move its capital, and rising opposition activity all point towards looming conflict. If the US and Israel attack, the consequences could shake the entire Middle East. Oil prices, refugee movements, and regional security could all be affected. For now, Tehran is on high alert, and Washington shows no signs of compromise. The coming months may decide the region’s future.
