Despite a newly signed US-Iran peace agreement, Israel launched air and artillery strikes along the Lebanese border, with Israel's National Security Minister declaring the nation independent of US-mandated deals.

New Delhi: Israel attacked on Iran following the Iran-US deal. According to an Iranian news agency, Israel attacked Jawtar al-Sharqiyah, Markaba, Al-Khiyam cities. It is also reported that Israel used air and artillery shelling both.

However no injuries have been reported in this recent Israeli strike. The local officers keep eye on and monitoring the situation minutely as this deliberate incident occurred during the diplomatic talks of ceasefire. The attack were done at Israel-Lebanon border.

Whom Lebanon officers warned?

Amidst the situation, Lebanon warned to the people who stuck and became  homeless, to not to return as soon. Although Iran and  US agreed on the peace talks on Monday. Trump assured that the peace agreement will lead to the stop the firing through every channel. But as per media reports, Lebanon was again attacked by Israel despite being agreement have been signed.

According to Israel, thousands were killed in the attacks, and mostly were the terrorists. But 12 lakh people lost their home following the attack on Iran-backed Hezbollah. US - Iran's conflict impacted on Lebanon in very dangerous nature.

What Israel's defense minister quoted?

Israel's defense minister Ben Gvir said that Trump's deal is not applicable on Israel. He further added that Israel is sovereign and not functions under the USA. We are an independent nation.  Ben gvir quoted, "Whenever we succumbed to international pressure at the cost of Israel's security, we had to pay a heavy price for it. The same happened at the time of the Oslo Accords, the same happened in the 2006 Lebanon agreement, and the same happened during every attempt at control in Gaza, which resulted in a very bad outcome for us." 

Why the deal matters?

A senior Iranian official said that a draft memorandum between the US and Iran would require Tehran to formally commit to not developing nuclear weapons and to freeze its nuclear program pending a final agreement. In return, the US would lift its naval blockade on Iranian ports and ease sanctions. The proposal also calls for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz to commercial shipping immediately upon signing.
Trump also assured that the deal could be signed as early as Sunday and will lkead to stop the conflicts in the region. The Strait of Hormuz would also open to all shipping once the deal is formalized.
