Israeli forces herd women, children in Gaza: Reports have emerged from the northern Gaza Strip detailing a harrowing incident in which Israeli forces reportedly gathered a large number of women and children into a pit, surrounding them with gunfire before eventually allowing them to flee. The chilling account, shared by a woman from Jabalia, paints a disturbing picture of fear and confusion during the ordeal.

Testimony from a survivor in Jabalia, video surfaces

One of the women who endured the ordeal described the traumatic events. "They took all the children away from their mothers and placed them into what seemed like a pit or hole," she recounted. "A tank then circled around them multiple times, kicking up dirt and sand while the children screamed and the mothers cried."

According to her testimony, the situation grew even more chaotic as Israeli soldiers eventually began tossing the children back toward the mothers. "When a mother picked up a child, she had to move quickly, without even confirming if it was her own child."

Mothers forced to flee with other women's children

In the confusion and panic, many mothers ended up carrying children that were not theirs. The survivor explained, "Mothers were forced to leave with children belonging to other women. A new chapter of suffering began as each mother tried to find her own child, while calming the unfamiliar child she held in her arms."

The testimony underscores the deep emotional and psychological toll that the ongoing conflict in Gaza continues to inflict on civilians, particularly women and children.
