Bloodshed in Quetta (Social media)

International News:Pakistan was once again engulfed in the flames of violence on Tuesday. Three attacks in two different provinces of the country drowned 22 families in mourning. The biggest attack took place in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, where a suicide bomber blew himself up at the Balochistan National Party (BNP) rally.

Mayhem at Quetta rally

When hundreds of workers gathered, there was a strong explosion in the parking lot of the stadium. According to eyewitnesses, there was chaos all around, and the corpses were shattered. In this attack, 11 people died on the spot, while more than 40 people were seriously injured. The situation in hospitals is very critical.

Attack on security forces in border sector

On this day, a convoy of security forces was passing in the area bordering Balochistan. Then there was an explosion in the IED (local bomb) installed on the roadside. In this, five soldiers were killed and four others were injured. The local administration has described it.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's 12-hour struggle

The third major attack took place in Bannu city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The suicide bomber collided with the explosives at the gate of the Frontier Corps Camp. Soon after the blast, five more terrorists entered and engaged the security forces for hours. According to official information, six soldiers were martyred in this action, which lasted 12 hours, while all the attackers were killed. The terrorist organization Ittehad-ul-Mujahideen Pakistan has taken responsibility for this attack.

Violence roots

Balochistan is the largest and most resource-rich province in Pakistan, but the irony is that it is counted among the poorest areas. The political parties here have been demanding more rights and local development for a long time. Despite the investment of billions of dollars under China's One Belt, One Road Project, local people believe that only outsiders are benefiting from it.

Increased danger

Pakistani security forces have been struggling with the ongoing rebellion in Balochistan for the past decade. In 2024, violence here took a formidable form, in which 782 people died. Since January this year, more than 430 people in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including a large number of security personnel, have fallen victim to attacks.
