PM Modi at ‘Bharat Innovates’ in France: India Innovating for a Sustainable Future and Global Good (X/@PTI)
France: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday described India as an emerging solutions hub and a rising force in global innovation, stating that the country is steadily shifting from being a consumer of technology to a contributor of solutions for the world.
PM Modi made these remarks at the inauguration of 'Bharat Innovates' in Nice, France. He shared the stage with French President Emmanuel Macron and stressed that innovation and inclusion were not opposing forces but rather complementary to each other.
"Innovation and inclusion are not enemies, but they complement each other. Innovation becomes great not due to its valuation but due to its human impact," PM Modi said.
Modi praised India's youth for channeling their energies toward solutions. He stressed that the India's innovations benefit all of humanity rather than serving narrow commercial interests. "India's youth has a new mindset, one that thinks about the whole of humanity," he remarked.

Throughout his address, the Prime Minister repeatedly underlined that India innovates with the world in mind, placing sustainability at the heart of its approach. "India innovates with speed and scale. India innovates for a sustainable future. India innovates for the world," he quoted.
Drawing on India's long civilizational history, Modi argued that the spirit of innovation has always been deeply embedded with the identity of India as a nation. "For thousands of years, India has shaped the progress of humanity through its contributions to medicine, yoga, mathematics and science," he added.
The Prime Minister outlined the steps his government has taken over the past 12 years to build a more robust and inclusive innovation ecosystem across the country. He highlighted the Atal Tinkering Labs programme, which has been introduced in schools to take the culture of innovation directly to the grassroots level.
"From easing the patent filing process to incubation networks, from the startup ecosystem to policy support systems, we have strengthened the ecosystem by taking innovation to the grassroots," Modi said.
The event marked a significant moment in the growing India-France partnership on technology and innovation. With both the leaders reaffirming their commitment to collaboration in the field of emerging technologies and sustainable development, French President and India's PM repeatedly asserted remarks on sustainability and future of technological world.
