'Ram Mandir Flag Hoisting A Tight Slap On Pakistan's Face...?' Here's How Pak Reacted (X/Scrrengrab)
New Delhi: In a grand event on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unfurled the saffron flag marking the completion of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. But after the historic event in India, chaos erupted in Pakistan as they issued an unsolicited statement expressing their concern “deep concern” over the flag hoisting ceremony at the so-called "Ram Temple" built on the site of the historic Babri Mosque.
Pakistan has expressed their deep concern over the flag hoisting at the so-called ‘Ram Temple’ constructed on the site of the historic Babri Mosque in Ayodhya. The statement also stated that the 'Babri Mosque, a centuries-old place of worship, was demolished on 6 December 1992 by extremist mobs inspired by fascist ideologies.'
In the statement, Pakistan’s Foreign Office said, “This reflected a broader pattern of pressure on religious minorities in India and deliberate attempts at eroding Muslim cultural and religious heritage under the influence of majoritarian Hindutva ideology.”
Reportedly, Pakistan slammed the flag hoisting of Ram temple. The Pak FO condemned the flag hoisting at the site and stated that judicial processes allowing the construction of the temple over the mosque “speak volumes about the Indian state’s discriminatory approach towards minorities”, as per EurAsian Times.
The statement by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs further read, “The subsequent judicial processes in India, which acquitted those responsible and permitted construction of a temple on the demolished mosque’s site, speak volumes about the Indian state’s discriminatory approach towards minorities.”

“Numerous historic mosques now face similar threats of desecration or demolition, while Indian Muslims continue to experience growing social, economic, and political marginalisation,” it added.
“The United Nations and relevant international bodies must play a constructive role in safeguarding Islamic heritage and ensuring the protection of the religious and cultural rights of all minorities,” the statement said.
