Trump's envoys visit Israel: US President Donald Trump's two envoys—Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner—arrived in Israel on Monday to reinforce the ceasefire in Gaza. The visit came at a time when Sunday's violence posed the first major challenge to the fragile agreement.

Netanyahu met with US envoys

The situation appeared somewhat normal on Monday. Israel found the body of another hostage in Gaza and allowed humanitarian aid to be sent to the devastated area. UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said that no figures can be given at this time regarding the amount of aid.
American envoy meets Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with US envoys and discussed the current situation in the region. He warned Hamas that any attack on Israeli forces would come at a “very heavy price.” Netanyahu also said that US Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, will visit Israel on Tuesday and meet him.

Trump said-Hamas will have to behave well

On Sunday, Israel carried out attacks in Gaza, blaming the killing of two soldiers, in which several Palestinians were killed. After this Israel announced the re-implementation of the ceasefire.
Meanwhile, President Trump said that the US will give the ceasefire “a little chance” so that the violence can reduce. He warned Hamas that it would face serious consequences if it did not “behave well.”

“They have to be good, and if they're not good, they're going to be wiped out,” Trump said. He also made it clear that America will not send its ground troops in any military action.
The ceasefire is still fragile. Diplomatic sources and relief agencies have warned that the ceasefire is still very fragile. The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is deepening, and any new conflict could worsen the situation.
