A 26-year-old teacher from the United States has recently been arrested on charges of sexually abusing a teenage boy she met at an Arkansas church. Reagan Gray, who worked as a teacher at Little Rock Christian Academy, was taken into custody after allegations surfaced regarding her abuse of a 15-year-old boy, beginning in 2020.

According to reports from the New York Post, the abuse came to light when the boy's parents discovered numerous text messages on his phone, allegedly sent by Gray. These messages reportedly included explicit content, with Gray allegedly sending nude photos and engaging in inappropriate conversations with the teenager.

School suspends accused

Upon learning of the situation, the boy's parents promptly reported the matter to a senior pastor at the Little Rock Immanuel Baptist Church, where Gray had been volunteering. An investigation was initiated, leading to Gray's suspension from her volunteer role. During counseling sessions, Gray reportedly denied any physical relationship with the teenager, claiming that their interactions were not of a sexual nature.

However, subsequent developments revealed a deeper involvement between Gray and the teenage boy. In February of the following year, it was uncovered that Gray had been communicating with the 15-year-old via Snapchat. According to court documents, the teenager confessed to federal officials that Gray had made a sexual relationship with the students.

Gray, who continues to work at Sylvan Hills Middle School, was placed on administrative leave in February throughout the investigation. She was accused of sexual assault after an arrest warrant was issued. She was later freed on $20,000 bail.
