How to get rid of dark knees at home?

Lemon juice

The citric acid present in lemon along with bicarbonate removes dead skin and improves the complexion of the skin. For this, take juice of half lemon and 1 teaspoon baking soda. Mix both well and apply on elbows, massage gently for 1 minute. Then wash thoroughly and apply moisturizing oil or cream.

Rice water 

Rice water has astringent properties, as well as niacin and kojic acid. These are the things that can help in the elbow whitening process naturally. For this, leave the raw rice to soak in water for 12 hours. Then, use a cotton pad to apply it on your elbows and let it dry. Repeat this process twice a day.

Aloe Vera 

Sccop out one tablespoon of aloe vera gel and apply it generously on your knees. Let it rest for at least five minutes or till it gets abosrbed in the skin. 

Olive oil and Sugar scrub 

The olive oil hydrates the skin, acting as a barrier from friction. Sugar exfoliates the skin and removes dead skin cells. Just massage gently to not hurt your skin. Leave it for five minutes, then wash off with soap and water. 

Baking soda and milk 

Baking soda has natural bleaching properties and is a reliable exfoliating scrub. Milk contains lactic acid that helps brighten and soothe skin. Combine one tablespoon of baking soda with a spoonful of milk. Mix it to create a paste. Then, apply it to dark knees.
