What is the right time to bring the ashes?

Holika Dahan ashes should be brought home on the next morning before or at sunrise.  If the ashes are still warm, wait until they cool down. After bathing in the morning and wearing clean clothes, one can go to bring the ashes with positive thoughts and prayers in mind. Never bring the ashes in the evening or at night.
