Punjab: The Aam Aadmi Party demonstrated its strength in Chhota Udaipur, Gujarat. Thousands of people gathered at the "Jodo Gujarat" rally, and many prominent leaders and workers from the BJP and Congress joined the Aam Aadmi Party. This rally not only proved politically historic but also demonstrated the AAP's stronghold in Gujarat, extending to every village.
Present on stage at this rally were Dedhiapada MLA Chatar Vasava, District President Radhika Rathwa, Assembly in-charge Vinubhai Rathwa, and student leader Yuvraj Singh Jadeja. During the event, BJP's current business president, Rajesh Rathwa, several former sarpanches, former Congress taluka panchayat members, and over 7,000 workers joined the Aam Aadmi Party. This is considered the party's biggest show of strength in Chhota Udaipur to date.
Chaitar Vasava welcomed the new members with traditional khes (veils) and declared that a new story of honest politics would be written in Gujarat. He categorically declared that the Aam Aadmi Party would not form an alliance with any party and would contest the local elections alone. He stated that the public now wants freedom from the corruption and broken promises of traditional parties, and that the AAP has brought about this change.
During the gathering, slogans like "Kejriwal in Gujarat too," "Aam Aadmi's government," and "The time for change has come" echoed throughout. The presence of thousands of people from villages and tribal areas made it clear that the party's groundwork is showing results.
