After Delhi Blast, Entry and Exit Gates at Lal Quila Metro Station Reopened (@OfficialDMRC)
New Delhi: After the recent unfortunate Delhi blast near Lal Quila, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Sunday i.e. (November 16), announced that the gates at Lal Quila Metro Station has been reopened for the commuters. As per the latest announcement, both entry and exit gates at the Lal Quila Metro Station have been once again reopened for people.
Taking to the official handle of DMRC on X, it shared a service update and wrote, ''All the gates of Lal Quila Metro Station are now open for commuters.''

After the deadly blast near the red fort that left around 3 people dead, the DMRC has decided to reopen the entry and exit gates at the red fort. After the Delhi blast, several people were injured.
After the massive blast near Red Fort in Delhi, the metro station was shut temporarily on Thursday. Following the unfortunate event, all the entry and exit gates of Red Fort metro station were shut, and metro services in the area came to halt. Tight security arrangements were done in the nearby area and it was cordoned off. The DMRC also issued a statement that read the closure was enforced “till further notice due to security reasons.”
After the announcement of DMRC to shut the Lal Quila metro station for a while, the normal life was affected and the daily commuters faced major inconvenience especially during the peak hours.
After the deadly Delhi blast, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his X and posted, ''The horrific blast in Delhi last evening has deeply pained everyone. India stands with those who have suffered.'' He added. ''I assure everyone that the agencies will get to the bottom of the entire conspiracy. All those involved will be brought to justice.''
Later, PM Modi also went to the hospital to meet the injured. He took to his X and shared a series of pics and wrote, ''Went to LNJP Hospital and met those injured during the blast in Delhi. Praying for everyone’s quick recovery. Those behind the conspiracy will be brought to justice!
