Arvind Kejriwal to Review Relief Work in Flood-Affected Punjab

Rain havoc continues to affect Punjab. The state is seriously affected by rains facing a major challenge of heavy rains and floods these days. Villages are flooded, people are being shifted to safer places, and efforts are on to make life normal again. In this difficult time, the Aam Aadmi Party is fulfilling its social responsibility and ground commitment with full sensitivity. At a time when there is a crisis everywhere, the duo of Aam Aadmi Party's National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has emerged as a strong support and the biggest ray of hope for the people.

Arvind Kejriwal is going to reach Punjab. He will visit the flood-affected areas along with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday, review the relief work directly and boost the morale of the affected families by meeting them. A national leader himself understanding the ground situation and standing among the people is a symbol of the same spirit of public service for which the Aam Aadmi Party is known.

Arvind Kejriwal has also announced that every day a leader, MLA or worker of Aam Aadmi Party will reach Punjab with relief material from Delhi. This is not a campaign, but a thread connecting the relationship between Delhi and Punjab, where humanity is being given priority above politics.

Relief Material to be Distributed

Relief material is being collected in Delhi's markets, colonies, mohallas, business organizations and social groups. Ration, medicines, clothes, essential items are being packed, it is not just relief, it is an emotional relationship that is being sent towards Punjab. At the same time, Delhi State President Saurabh Bhardwaj himself has reached Punjab with relief material. He is not just leading, but playing a leading role in service. The material sent under his leadership includes essential items like ORS, soap, tarpaulin, mosquito net, torch, dry milk, diapers, candles, medicines, bedsheets, biscuits, sanitizer, toothpaste-toothbrush, dry ration and water bottles, which will meet the immediate needs of the flood affected people.

AAP MP's and MLA's to Donate One Month Salary

In this episode, Aam Aadmi Party MPs and MLAs have also decided to donate their one month's salary to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. This step is not just a financial contribution, but a symbol of service and dedication, which shows that every public representative of the party stands with the people of Punjab in this crisis. The Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, has been engaged in relief work from day one. The Chief Minister himself has visited many districts, is communicating directly with the people, and is personally monitoring the administrative preparations. NDRF teams, health department, panchayats and local administration are running relief work together with full dedication. This administrative readiness reflects the commitment of the Punjab government.

Arvind Kejriwal's Video Message

In his video message, Arvind Kejriwal has appealed to all the states, governments and social organizations of the country to come together and help Punjab. This is the time for unity and compassion, to rise above politics and work for humanity.

Today, when people are facing difficulties, when women are moving to safer places with their children, when the elderly need medicines and ration, relief material trucks are not arriving but with trust and affection. Aam Aadmi Party has shown that when politics is inspired by the spirit of service, it becomes a medium to reduce the sufferings of the people.

This is the same politics that runs from the field, not from the stage. Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann have made it clear that the suffering of the people of Punjab is not just the responsibility of Punjab but of the entire country, and Aam Aadmi Party is fulfilling this responsibility with full dedication.
