Jammu and Kashmir: There was chaos in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir in the early hours of Monday when the earth suddenly started trembling. The tremors that came at around 5:30 in the morning disturbed people's sleep. Many families panicked and immediately came out of their homes and gathered in open places. The ground was felt shaking for a few seconds, which created an atmosphere of fear in the area.

The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 4.7. According to the information, its center was at a depth of about 10 kilometers from the ground.
