New Delhi: Just before the T20 World Cup, a big decision has come regarding the Pakistan cricket team. The government has given permission to the team to play the tournament, and the players will also leave for Sri Lanka under the leadership of captain Salman Aga.

But the real discussion is about the decision, in which it has been said that Pakistan will not play the group match against India on 15th February. That means the team will remain in the tournament but will stay away from this high-voltage match.

Did Bangladesh dispute become the reason for this decision?

The matter started from here. Pakistan officials believe that the International Cricket Council did not treat Bangladesh properly. Despite citing security reasons, their views were not listened to and the team was thrown out of the tournament. Pakistan Cricket Board is angry with this thing. He says that the rules should be equal for everyone.

What decision did the government take?

According to reports, the PCB Chairman met Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. After a long discussion, it was decided that it would not be right to leave the entire tournament, but the match against India would not be played. This is being described as a kind of protest. The message is clear that Pakistan is not happy with the ICC decisions.

If Pakistan does not play the match then whose loss will it be?

If the team does not take the field, then as per the rules India will get two straight points. In such a situation, Pakistan's qualification may be difficult, because every match is important in the shorter format. On top of that, there is also a possibility of action or fine from the ICC, because the match has been held at a neutral venue as per the schedule.

What is Pakistan's future plan?

Pakistan team will reach Colombo on 2 February and play warm-up match. In Group A, its first match will be against Netherlands, then the clash with America and Namibia is fixed. Captain Salman Aga has clearly said that the players will do whatever the government and the board decide. Now it has to be seen how much staying away from the match against India affects the team's campaign.
