Bhagwant Mann vs Majithia (Social Media)

National News: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann launched the ambitious 'Mukhyamantri Swasthya Yojana,' aimed at delivering quality and affordable healthcare to the people of the state. While outlining the scheme’s benefits, CM Mann’s speech also took a sharp political turn, as he indirectly targeted Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia without taking his name.

“I’m Just a Medium—Let the Law Speak,” says Mann

Commenting on the Majithia case, Mann said, “I no longer speak against anyone. That is the job of the law. Those who devastated lakhs of families with chitta (synthetic drugs), those who snatched away the happiness of our sisters and daughters—they will have to face the consequences.”

He further added, “If I have made any mistake, I too should be punished. But those who brought Punjab to the brink of destruction—they will be held accountable right here. Heaven and hell both exist in this world, and justice will be served in this very life.”

A Sharp Response to Majithia’s “Screams” Remark

CM Mann also took a pointed dig at Majithia’s earlier remark, where he had allegedly said, “We will make you scream.” Responding to this, Mann said, “Twisting one’s mustache doesn’t scare anyone. Those who once threatened to make others scream are now unable to count their own cries.” Mann folded his hands, invoked ‘Waheguru,’ and said that God sees everything—justice may be delayed, but it will not be denied.

Called the Scheme a Milestone, Thanked the Public

Concluding his speech, the Chief Minister thanked the people of Punjab and said that ‘Mukhyamantri Swasthya Yojana’ is not just a welfare program but a transformative step towards creating a healthier, stronger Punjab. He reiterated his government's commitment to ensuring affordable, accessible, and dignified healthcare for every citizen.
