Bihar Assembly Election 2024
National News: There are preparations to release a joint manifesto to give the message of NDA's strength in the Bihar assembly elections. It will contain details of the NDA government's promises for the next five years. It is believed that this time the NDA will bring a manifesto on the theme of developed Bihar for developed India. It will focus on increasing investment in Bihar, employment to youth, special incentives for women, etc.
In the year 2020, BJP and JDU contested the elections together but then both the parties had released separate manifestos. According to sources, apart from the NDA's joint manifesto, the allies can also release their own separate manifesto if they want. The purpose behind the NDA's joint declaration is to give the message of NDA's unity and working together in the interest of the people of Bihar.
Actually, all the NDA constituents involved in the Bihar assembly elections are giving the message of unity. Barring a few statements, all the NDA allies are working together on the ground for victory in Bihar. Actually, this time the NDA's strategy from the very beginning has been that the workers on the ground should also consider themselves NDA workers.
This is because it has often been seen that parties form an alliance but the distance between the workers on the ground remains, so this time first booth-wise NDA joint programs were organized so that the distances between NDA workers can be eliminated at the booth level.
After that, district-wise NDA conferences were held which were addressed by the state and central NDA leaders and now joint conferences are also being organised in the NDA assemblies in Bihar. These assembly-wise conferences have been named worker conferences, in which workers of all the five alliance parties participate and discuss the strategy for NDA's victory in that assembly. NDA leaders also address these assembly-wise worker conferences.
NDA worker conferences are to be completed in all 243 assembly constituencies by September 23. The third phase of NDA worker conference has started now, in which 102 assembly constituencies will be covered. Before this, NDA worker conferences have been held in 84 assembly constituencies in the first phase and 57 assembly constituencies in the second phase. Along with this, this time an election management committee will be formed to fight the Bihar assembly elections together with the allies for better management and coordination in the NDA.
This committee will have leaders of BJP and JDU as well as leaders of the allies. According to BJP sources, this step is being taken for better coordination with the allies. The responsibility of issues and decisions related to Bihar elections such as campaigning, management, joint rallies, election issues and strategy will be on the responsibility of this management committee.
The BJP is also going to start a campaign to create 10,000 Modi Mitras in every assembly constituency which will run for 15 days. These Modi Mitras will work like digital soldiers who will remind the youth of Bihar, especially the first time voters, of the jungle raj of Lalu Raj on social media. Also, the Modi Mitras will be responsible for digital election campaigning in which the work of the government will be conveyed to the young voters through social media. One of the objectives of the BJP behind Modi Mitras is to counter the Prashant Kishore factor among the youth.
