Tej Pratap Yadav Booked For MCC Violation: Ahead of the Bihar Elections 2025, Rashtriya Janatal Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav, has been booked for violating the model code of conduct (MCC) while filing his nomination papers from the Mahua constituency, as per police.

The Janshakti Janta Dal (JJD) chief Tej Pratap, while filing his nomination papers, was seen using an SUV with a police logo and a beacon light, on October 16, stated the Circle Officer of Mahua in his complaint. Notably, the video of the incident has been circulated on the socialmedia platforms as well.

The news agency PTI quoted the complaint that read, "It was thoroughly examined and found that the police logo and beacon light used on the vehicle were a private one. Therefore, a case was registered for violation of the election code of conduct."

It is worthy to be noted here that Tej Pratap had earlier in 2015 contested Bihar elections from Mahua. Meanwhile, in 2020 Bihar elections, he was replaced with Mukesh Kumar Raushan, the current MLA from Mahua.

Notably, Tej Pratap had filed his nomination on October 16. After filing his nominations he said, "I will keep doing other development works here..." He further said, "I filed my nomination papers with the blessings of my late grandmother."
