Bihar Elections 2025: The countdown for the Bihar Assembly elections 2025 has started. Voting is to be held on 121 seats in the first phase on November 6 and the notification has been issued. Now the real script of the electoral battle is to be written in Delhi on Sunday. The meetings to be held today are being called 'Super Sunday' in political circles, because both the teams contending for power—NDA and the Mahagathbandhan are busy deciding their final strategy.
Rabri Devi's residence in Patna hosted an important meeting of RJD's core committee late on Saturday night. In this meeting, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, and other senior leaders had a lengthy discussion on seat and ticket distribution. Sources indicate that Tejashwi Yadav will meet Congress leaders in Delhi today to finalize the alliance formula.
NDA's strategic meetings are continuing in Delhi. BJP President J.P. Nadda. An eight-hour-long meeting took place at Nadda's residence on Saturday, in which Home Minister Amit Shah and leaders of all NDA constituents from Bihar were present. The seat sharing and names of the candidates are likely to be finalized in the NDA Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting this morning.

However, Congress is adamant on demanding an additional 10 seats, while CPI-ML has already rejected Tejashwi's proposal. Disagreements also persist over some seats in Seemanchal. If negotiations fail, RJD is preparing to contest 138 seats alone.
