Bomb THREAT In a Private School in Chanakypuri: Delhi Police (AI)
New Delhi: A private school in Delhi's Chanakyapuri area received a bomb threat on Thursday. The bomb threat was received via email. Meanwhile, after the bomb threat, Delhi police officials have clearly dismissed the threat and called it as a hoax after an investigation process.
According to the news agency ANI, the bomb threat incident took place at Sanskriti School in Chanakypuri. Notably, this bomb threat comes after a recent deadly terror incident near Red Fort in Delhi, which has killed more than 10 people.
After the bomb threat, instruction were given to vacate the court complexes including Patiala House, Saket, Rohini, and Tis Hazari. Notably, after the court complexes, 2 Delhi schools also received bomb threats.

Meanwhile, Delhi police have called the threats to be false. A report of HT quoted a police officer as saying, “We received an email stating bombs are planted in different courts. This included Delhi district courts and two CRPF [Central Reserve Police Force] schools in Dwarka and Prashant Vihar."

It is to be noted here that a deadly blast happened at red fort area in Delhi, when a slow moving Hyundai 120 car blasted near Lal Quila Metro Station gate number. The blast was later called as a terror incident, which killed more than 10 people and injured several people.
