Political crisis in Telangana: K. Kavitha resigns from BRS, makes serious allegations against cousins

National News: There was a big upheaval in Telangana politics on Wednesday. Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and Legislative Council Member K. Kavita submitted his resignation from the party. She took this decision when she was suspended from the party on charges of indiscipline and anti-party activities a day earlier. Announcing her resignation, Kavitha accused K.K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) and his two cousins, T. Harish Rao and J.K. Santosh Rao, of conspiring to break up the family. She also asked her father and BRS chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) to recognize the real intentions of the people around him.

Cousins responsible for Corruption charges against my father 

Kavitha claimed that KCR was pressured by some party leaders to take the decision of suspension. She said, "KCR garu and KTR garu are my family. This relationship is of blood and it should never end. But some people want to break our family so that they can strengthen their own political ground." She alleged that the CBI is investigating her father KCR because of the corrupt activities of the cousins. Kavitha appealed to KTR not to trust these people and save the family from breaking.

Big allegation on Telangana CM

Kavitha made a big political blast in her statement. She alleged that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy conspired with her cousin Harish Rao to break the BRS family. Kavitha claimed that "Revanth Reddy and Harish Rao were traveling together on a flight when this entire conspiracy was planned." She also alleged that Revanth Reddy filed cases against other BRS leaders but saved Harish Rao from any kind of action. Along with this, Kavitha also alleged that Harish Rao secretly funded the assembly elections to defeat her father and brother KTR.

KTR targeted: 'Anna, why did you not take any action?'

Kavita expressed displeasure over KTR, saying that she complained about the conspiracy and false propaganda against her several times, but no action was taken. "I had told him not only as a sister but also as an MLC of the party that a conspiracy was being done against me. But he didn't understand the need to take any action. Anna, why did you not say a single word?" Kavitha asked.

Big allegations made before suspension

Just a few hours before the suspension, Kavita had made serious allegations of alleged corruption on Harish Rao and Santosh Rao in the Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project. She claimed, "These two were handling important parts of this project and they amassed huge wealth by keeping KCR in the dark. These two are the dragons of corruption."
