BSP To Show Strength On Kanshi Ram Jayanti In UP, Workers To Gather In Lucknow And Noida

New Delhi: Bahujan Samaj Party is organizing a large-scale program on Sunday on the occasion of the 92nd birth anniversary of its founder Kanshi Ram. The party is seeing this as an opportunity to show the strength of the organization. Amidst the preparations for the upcoming assembly elections, BSP has called upon workers to mobilize in large numbers on this day.

The main event will be held at the Kanshi Ram memorial site in Lucknow, while workers from western Uttar Pradesh will gather at the memorial in Noida.

What kind of event will be organized in Lucknow?

Workers and officials of 12 divisions of the state will participate in the program to be held in the capital Lucknow. Party's state president Vishwanath Pal will also be present in this program. The party leadership has appealed to the workers to reach Lucknow in large numbers, so that Kanshi Ram's birth anniversary can be celebrated on a large scale.

Why will workers of Western UP gather in Noida?

BSP has made Kanshi Ram Memorial in Noida the venue of the program for the workers of six divisions of Western Uttar Pradesh. A large number of party officials and supporters will reach here also. Through this event the party will try to show the strength of its organization in Western UP.

Where will Mayawati and Akash Anand stay?

BSP supremo Mayawati will celebrate Kanshi Ram's birth anniversary at her residence on Mall Avenue, Lucknow. The party's national convenor Akash Anand will attend the program organized in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Apart from this, jubilee programs are also being organized by the party in the capitals of other states, in which in-charges and officials of the respective states will be present.

What preparations have been made to gather crowd in the program?

BSP has called upon the workers to "move to Lucknow”. Mandal-level officials have been instructed to arrange for buses and other vehicles to bring as many people as possible to the venue. The party believes that large-scale mobilization will bring new enthusiasm to the organization and will also inspire the workers for election preparations.

Kanshi Ram is counted among those leaders of Indian politics who strengthened the voice of the rights of the Bahujan community at the national level. He founded Bahujan Samaj Party in the year 1984. Under his leadership, the party gave a new direction to the politics of Dalits, backward and deprived classes. Even today BSP keeps his ideas and contributions at the center of its organizational programs.
