Bulandshahr Crime News: In a disturbing case from Bulandshahr, a newly married woman has accused her husband and his friends of drugging and gangraping her, with a case now registered against eight individuals, including the husband. The woman sought legal refuge after alleging that the police initially failed to act on her complaint. Following a court order, an investigation is underway.

Ordeal begins after marriage

The victim, a resident of Delhi, had met her alleged husband through the matrimonial site Shaadi.com. After communication with a man from Secunderabad, their marriage was arranged and took place in January as per traditional customs. However, the nightmare began soon after the wedding. The woman claims she was locked in a room for five days, isolated and subjected to abuse.

Drugged and gangraped

According to the woman’s statement, her husband arrived in a drunken state along with his friends. They allegedly mixed drugs into her food, rendering her unconscious. While incapacitated, she was gangraped, and an obscene video of the assault was recorded. The woman further revealed that her husband and his friends intended to blackmail and coerce her into immoral activities, an allegation that has sent shockwaves through the local community.

Husband has a pattern of luring women

The victim alleges that her husband has a pattern of luring women through false promises of marriage, only to trap them in similar abusive situations. She reported that other members of her in-laws’ family were complicit in the abuse and physical assault when she resisted their demands.

Police investigation underway

Frustrated with the inaction of local authorities, the victim approached the court, which then directed the Kotwali Nagar police to register a case. Following the court's order, the police have officially lodged an FIR against eight individuals, including the husband, and have launched a formal investigation into the matter.
