National News: Police say 62-year-old Chaitanyananda used his position at Sri Sharada Institute to target poor students admitted under the EWS quota. He promised foreign trips or threatened exam failure if they refused his demands. Investigators claim that students were mentally pressured and forced into silence for months. This pattern of manipulation came to light only after brave students lodged a complaint in August.

Police issue lookout circular immediately

Following the complaint, police registered a case and quickly issued a lookout notice against Chaitanyananda. Multiple police teams have been formed to track him. Sources revealed he was in London when the case was filed but may now be hiding in Agra or Uttarakhand. Officers believe he has networks in spiritual circles that could be helping him escape.

Luxury car with fake UN plate

In a shocking twist, police recovered a luxury car from the institute basement bearing a forged diplomatic number plate — 39 UN 1. Officials believe Chaitanyananda used it to appear influential and avoid scrutiny. Investigators are probing how he managed to obtain such fake documentation. The discovery has raised questions about his high-level connections and fraudulent methods.

Grand claims of global fame

Chaitanyananda, also known as Dr Parthasarthy, projected himself as an “internationally acclaimed writer.” His profile claimed authorship of 28 books and 143 research papers. He often introduced himself as a professor linked with the University of Chicago. He even boasted of honorary doctorates and awards from global universities, none of which stand verified by credible institutions.

False links to Steve Jobs, Obama

One of his books, Forget Classroom Learning, allegedly carried a foreword by Apple founder Steve Jobs. His profile also claimed former US President Barack Obama quoted his book Transforming Personality during campaigns. Experts now say these stories were entirely fabricated to build credibility. By weaving such false claims, he fooled followers and students into believing he had international recognition.

History of fraud and harassment

This scandal is not Chaitanyananda’s first brush with law enforcement. In 2009, he was booked for fraud and molestation at Defence Colony police station. In 2016, another molestation case was filed at Vasant Kunj. Police sources say he repeatedly used his “godman” image to target young students, especially women, while masking himself as a writer, educationist, and spiritual leader.

Escape routes and current mystery

As of now, his exact location remains a mystery. Police suspect he is moving between cities like Agra and Uttarakhand, where he has old spiritual ties. His speeches and connections with other gurus could be giving him cover. Authorities are determined to arrest him and bring closure for victims who faced years of harassment and fear under his influence.
